Build A House…Build A Dream 2019
On Saturday, March 23, 2019, Fox & Roach/Trident Charities sponsored the 16th annual Build A House…Build A Dream Contest for Kids, benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Chester County. The contest features 5th grade students from throughout the area who worked individually or in pairs to build their own three-dimensional, model dream home.
The students displayed their models at Church Farm School in Exton, PA, describing for the judges the concepts and planning behind their designs. Judges and spectators remarked at the extraordinary level of detail and ingenuity seen in this year’s houses, which included a house built entirely of books, houses built in space and underground, and all manner of eco-friendly and energy self-sufficient homes.

NBC10 Philadelphia Meteorologist, Bill Henley (rear left) was on hand as this year’s Master of Ceremonies.
