Since 1998, the Charles B. Patt, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament has been a Lehigh Valley tradition for hundreds of golfers. Annually, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Realtors, The Trident Group and friends have shared their time and talents to benefit the Cancer Support Community.
This year’s event was truly special in many ways. 120 golfers turned out on a beautiful and sunny day at the Woodstone Golf Club in Danielsville. In recognition of the 20th anniversary, donors and friends raised over $50,000, a nearly 50% increase over the already generous average annual amount! Special fundraisers included the opportunity to purchase tribute notices in the program book and a kickoff event in the Fox & Roach Macungie office featuring a hot dog cart and an egg roulette face-off between Doug and Don Patt.
Doug & Don also announced that they were “passing the torch” to Don’s son Brad after their 20-year run of faithfully nurturing the tournament to the signature event that it is today. Take a look at the video below shown at this year’s ceremony honoring Doug & Don.
Named for Don and Doug Patt’s late father, and Patt, White Real Estate founder, Charles B. Patt, Jr., this annual event has now raised more than $680,000 to help the Cancer Support Community and an Endowed Lectureship in Oncology with Lehigh Valley Health Network. The Patts’ generosity allows us to provide programs of support for people affected by cancer in the Greater Lehigh Valley at no cost to participants.
