Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Team Little Pink Houses

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Sunday May 14, 2017 | Team Little Pink Houses

Volunteer dog Phoebe walked with team members (owner) Dodie Preston of the Marketing Department, Dodie’s son Josh, and Michael Lillys.

27 years ago, a few people came together to start the Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure with a vision of helping more women become aware of and talk about breast cancer. As these few grew in number, they no longer just focused on making people aware of breast cancer but became determined to do everything possible to help women SURVIVE it.

Since 2007, a team from Fox & Roach and The Trident Group has participated in the race for the cure through Team Little Pink Houses, joining with others as part of the mission that will assure EVERY breast cancer patient emerges as a breast cancer SURVIVOR.

Thanks to the many donors and walkers, this year’s team raised over $800 for the cause. Over the past eleven years, Team Little Pink Houses has raised $21,500 from friends and donors, helping Komen in their “Bold Goal” to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths in the U.S. by 50 percent within the next decade!

Thank you to teammates Joshua Ziemski, Michael Lillys, Roni Gregory-Storti, Michelle Marinaro, Dodie Preston and Kassie Erb for your dedication and support!
