For children hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is MORE critical than ever to remove as MANY barriers as possible to learning More than one-fifth of students are not participating in school right now—21% of students are “absentee” due to disruptions to routine and school services, increasing anxiety and depression. Cradles to Crayons offers families a sense of support and security by providing quality school supply kits to children through our network of service partners.

Now in its 15th year, the Annual Backpack Challenge has become a cherished tradition within BHHS Fox & Roach and The Trident Group. Since 2006, our sales professionals, employees and management have donated more than 40,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for homeless and foster care children in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Last year we collected 7,534 backpacks!

This year as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Fox & Roach/Trident Charities we are again collecting filled backpacks for underserved children throughout the communities where we work and live. Your $20 donation will give a child a new, filled backpack to start the year and keep that backpack full with enough supplies for the entire school year. A child who is ready for learning, given the necessary supplies for the entire school year, is a child who is prepared to achieve.

Company Contribution

BHHS Fox & Roach and The Trident Group support our commitment to help disadvantaged children prepare to learn and achieve. As in past years, the company will donate 5 filled backpacks & supplies for every 50 backpacks donated by your office or department. In 2019, the BHHS Fox & Roach/Trident executive team increased our office and department efforts with a donation of 480 additional filled backpacks!
