Love Your Parks Day

PFR/T’s Society Hill’s Charities Committee has expanded its scope to include a Center City In-Service Day.  For its first annual event, PFR/T Center City is partnering with the Philadelphia Horticultural Society’s ‘Love Your Parks’ initiative.

Volunteers, along with spouses, partners, clients and prospects, will come together on Saturday, May 12 from 9am-1pm at neighborhood parks to clean and beautify these natural and recreational treasures.  Local park stewards will have tools and supplies on hand at each location (but volunteers are welcome to bring their personal work gloves.)

Volunteers will focus their efforts on the following three parks: Seger, Capitolo Gardens and Schuylkill River Parks.  Sign-up sheets are located in the bulletin board areas in each of PFR/T’s Center City offices or contact Fred Manfred at: [email protected]

Volunteers can help raise our visibility (and community commitment) by ordering t-shirts for only $5.00.  Orders are taken on the sign-up sheets.

We are calling on one-and-all to join in the Center City In-Service Day by coming out to support the communities that support us.
