Fox & Roach Charities’ Build A House…Build A Dream Contest for Kids

Benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Chester Country

On Saturday, March 17, 2018, Fox & Roach Charities sponsored the 15th annual Build A House…Build A Dream Contest for Kids, benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Chester County. The contest featured 5th grade students from throughout the area who worked individually or in pairs to build their own three-dimensional, model dream home.

The students displayed their models for judging at Church Farm School in Exton, PA. In addition to displaying their models, the students also explained the concepts and planning behind their designs. Judges and spectators remarked at the extraordinary level of detail and ingenuity seen in this year’s houses, which included a house built like a brain, houses built in space, and houses built on bodies of water!
