Fox & Roach/Trident Charities is proud to be the founding sponsor of the Build A House…Build A Dream contest which raises funds for and awareness of the home-building efforts of Habitat for Humanity in Chester County and the greater Delaware Valley. 2020 marks the 17th anniversary of the contest. To date, more than 6,000 fifth-grade students from 750 area schools have participated, and roughly $500,000 has been raised through sponsorships in support of Habitat. In addition, hundreds of volunteer hours have been given by BHHS Fox & Roach/Trident sales associates and employees.
Ordinarily, students, parents, judges and volunteers meet on a Saturday in March at the Church Farm School in Exton for the contest festivities. That was not possible due to sheltering-in-place and school closings because of the pandemic, so Fox & Roach/Trident Charities and Habitat for Humanity of Chester County invited all 5th graders to submit photos and descriptions of their work via email and gather for a live event on YouTube on May 2nd. Take a look at the video of the inspired designs we received. More »
