Kathy Carver Run for Down Syndrome Awareness

In honor of her son Danny, Kathy Carver, BHHS Fox & Roach Accounting Department, will be participating in the annual Chester County Down Syndrome Interest Group (CCDSIG) Family Runday & Funday on October 9th, 2016 at West Goshen Park, West Chester, Pennsylvania. Danny Carver is 19 years old and loves swimming, bowling, soccer, baseball and music. He is very loving and friendly.

The CCDSIG is a nonprofit organization that began in 1998 with a group of parents whose lives had been touched by Down syndrome and wanted to meet for social contact and support. Their goals have expanded to include reaching out to new families, providing educational and social opportunities for existing members, and educating the community in order to promote awareness and inclusion of persons with Down syndrome.
